To cultivate a culture of prayer (1Thess 5:17)
Miracles happen through prayer! We have a prayer team who prays in crisis and offers intercessory prayers for those who request them. Fill in the care slip on a Sunday with your prayer request or contact Darlene van Dyk at Darlenevd@bmc.org.za or at the church office (011) 463-2333 for more details. We also offer prayer after every service on a Sunday. Come to the rail and speak to a member of our Prayer Team who will pray with you.
A new perspective on healing – “Jesus here and now” in our midst
- There is a service for prayer and healing every Wednesday evening from 18h00-19h00
- Our healing ministry also has a Thursday morning communion service (at 07h00 in the Chapel).
To be the hands and feet of Jesus (Isaiah 52:7)
We visit hospitals and retirement homes on a weekly basis and would love to visit you and those you love. We can also arrange prayer visits before and after an operation were possible.
Offering spiritual care and emotional support by helping people connect with their own and community resources
A pastoral or spiritual carer offers a friendship that seeks to “walk with you along your path”. Its focus is on spiritual care and emotional support. In difficult and demanding times we may experience high stress, reducing our ability to cope. At these times the help of others may be very valuable. Family members and friends are an important support, but sometimes the presence of a person who is more emotionally detached from the situation can be very helpful.
