BMC COURSES - AN OVERVIEW

FOUNDATIONS
The Foundations Course is a prerequisite for membership at BMC.  This will connect you to the family in a meaningful way.  It is also a lovely introduction, or refresher, in the essentials of our faith.
HELP ALONG THE WAY
You have set your mind on following Jesus, but it is not always easy. You have many questions but are too afraid to ask for answers.
Is this perhaps you?
Do you have nagging questions like:
Am I really saved ?
Why can’t I hear God speaking to me?
Why is it that I don’t hear Him?
Why do I feel guilty so often?
Am I allowed to have fun as a Christian?
What is the abundant life Jesus mentioned?
"GOD-BREATHED" - Setting God's Word free  to address our lives today.
How does the average believer read the Bible in such a way that God may speak through the ancient
words and address lives in the 21st Century?
Some of the course topics:
 - Why is it important to read the Bible?
 - Coming to terms with the Bible story
 - Using the Bible creatively in Home Group
 - Ensuring the integrity of your understanding.
CARING GOD'S WAY
Caring :  What it is all about; How to Begin; The Bible  Our Basis; Applying Biblical Truth; Triggering a Change.  This course will give you a whole new perspective on caring.
EFFECTIVE PARENTING
This course is without doubt a revolutionary and practical parenting tool.  It equips parents with both the emotional and spiritual skills needed to grow secure, confident, respectful, happy, disciplined, responsible and balanced children in a defective world.
EQUIPPING FOR COMMUNITY - Training in Small Group Facilitation
Over the eight weeks you will experience community with other participants. This provides the ideal environment in which to learn and practice the principles that enable community to happen. You will discover how to facilitate a small group under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
“In my opinion the benefits of the training are invaluable for all current facilitators who have not yet done the course; and everyone considering becoming a facilitator or assistant facilitator should seriously consider doing it.” (Ellen Lenz)
MANAGING MONEY GOD'S WAY
DO YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW...

- God intended for you to use your money.
- to move from being financially vulnerable to financially
  competent.
- to live within your means, debt free, provide for the
future and be a cheerful giver.
- to stop worrying and start living
NETWORK
Find out what spiritual gifts God has given you and how you can serve in the right place, for the right reasons.
