Blanket Appeal
This past winter, Johannesburg and greater Gauteng saw temperatures drop to below freezing point. When you’re homeless and without shelter, sleeping on the streets without a blanket could mean the difference between life and death.
God calls us to remember the poor and to be generous in our giving.
‘A generous person will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor’

In conjunction with the BMC’s Father’s group, an appeal is made each year to help raise funds to purchase blankets and distribute these all over Gauteng province to those in dire need during the cold winter months.
Last year 16380 blankets were distributed to the needy. Our goal this year is to distribute 20 000 blankets.
