This is our team at the church. As the sunflower turns its face to the sun and follows it across the sky, so the Christ followers follow the Son of God as He moves across the earth. Our mission team is made up of two parts: - Samaria and
- Ends of the Earth
"..and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1.8 SAMARIA As in the Bible, Samaria refers to the countries on our doorstep, i.e. Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique and Botswana. ENDS OF THE EARTH This refers to all countries further afield. Our particular interest would be in the unreached countries, where the people have not even heard the name of Jesus. (For further information, see the page on Ends of the Earth). OUR MISSION STATEMENT - We want to make participating in "Making disciples of all nations" easily accessible and an integral part of life for every Christian by providing plenty of opportunities for anyone to become involved.
- To continue the spread of God's Kingdom throughout the earth.
To succeed in these tasks, this commission and every mission must be saturated in prayer.
