Pastoral Care exist to be an instrument of Christ’s hope in offering holistic care to BMC and the wider community.

Father’s ministry
Father’s group that is meeting every Friday morning at 6am

Are you a Senior Member?

·         Lesley Roberts is your Pastor. She would love to meet you.

·         She arranges: visitation to individuals and retirement villages, administers communion at home for those unable to get to church, seniors get-togethers, outings and functions where senior members are able to enjoy each other’s company. 


·         We provide follow up care for recently bereaved families and assist with Griefshare courses.
·         Remember birthdays
·         Meet on a monthly basis for fellowship over a light lunch
·         Cancer support – visits, prayer and follow up. 
·         We provide Freezer meals to the sick
·         Annual Senior Members’ Christmas lunch
·         How can you help? Become a volunteer!

Prayer Ministry

·         Prayer Team – prayers when in crisis
·         Intercessory prayers for the sick
·         Thursday morning communion services
·         Altar call ministry

Cancer Support Group

·         Please phone our Pastoral Care Department on 011 463 2333, if you would like one of our Cancer Support visitors, to pay you a visit. 

Have you lost a loved one?

GRIEFSHARE 
·         Griefshare is a Grief Recovery Support Group, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close, whether recently or in the past. 
·         This group is facilitated by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.

Are you going into hospital?

WE VISIT HOSPITALS ON WEEKLY BASIS.

·         Should you wish us to visit and pray for you before an operation, please contact Gerhard.
·         We deliver “Love Boxes” to those in hospital
·         Join us in singing Christmas Carols in the hospitals at the end of the year.
