Home groups use prepared study guides (booklets). They meet at BMC or at home and cover a wide geographical area: e.g. Bryanston, Fourways, Douglasdale, Riverclub, Sandton, Woodmead, Craighall. Most groups meet on evenings in the week, between 7-9pm, but we have groups that meet in the day-time as well. Groups have 6-12 members and can consist of ladies or men only, couples, singles, mixed ages or young adult groups. Most of our home groups use the prepared study guides that link with the Sunday Sermon message. This booklet is a guide to lead the groups through their 1-2 hour sessions every week. The booklet will normally have background information, daily readings and specific questions to be discussed in the group.
If you would like to facilitate a group you need to:
- Be a member of BMC, and
- Have been part of a group for at least one Series.
You can start a group by inviting your friends! We will then place people that are looking for a group in your area with you.
