Beginning with only 15 people, the Lazarus Ministry now serves and ministers to at least 150 hungry souls every Tuesday from 08:00 until 11:00. Through worship, prayer and sharing the Word of God, as well as providing a nutritious meal and a food parcel – we are helping these people gain a sense of self-respect as well as both physical and spiritual nurturing.
The Lazarus Ministry has recently launched the Ucoceco Project, where the money that we raise through our paper recycling goes towards paying the salaries to those who are willing to clean and maintain the streets of Bryanston- in effect job creation for those who started with nothing.
Vincent Ncapayi who is a local preacher and Evangelist within the life of BMC holds an amazing prayer and worship service every Tuesday between 8 and 10am. Everyone is welcome and we are always looking for Volunteers to hand out food parcels and to serve meals.
